Bright Spot Family Restaurant in Jasper

Food was quick but came with onions which I requested not to have. They took it back and brushed some of them off and returned my plate. Was in a rush so just picked them off as I went.Bathrooms were closed off with caution tape, I didn't know it was legal to run a restaurant without washrooms. No spoons to stir coffee with, had to use a butter knife.If we weren't in such a rush to catch our bus we would not have stayed.

Best little breakfast place in jasper. More then friendly and very clean.

Very disappointed if you value your health and not getting sick I would recommend not eating here. The only answer from staff when concerns were brought up was well everyone else loves it I didnt even take a bite as I knew it would make me sick. Zero interest in the customer and the server was rude and dirty

Hesitant to try but decided to since we were filling up at Petrocanada. So glad we did. Friendly waitress and excellent breakfast.

The food was totally tasty, hot, and they give u lots.very clean and the workers were very pleasant and polite

When my family arrived at the parking lot it was empty. That should have been our first warning when all the other restaurants where near capacity... My husband and I ordered simple pasta dishes thinking " how can they mess up pasta." Apparently pretty easily. The food tasted as if they had left it in the freezer too long. They corrected by over seasoning and adding extra cheese. It didn't help. At almost 20 dollars a dish it was expensive for what it was. Save your money and get something from the gas station next door.

Good food and friendly staff

Try it Yesterday on our way Home.A bit dissapointing being serve by This Ribs meal was 17$ for half Ribs and pasta serve upside down but when i flip it seeing this much of meat into the Ribs (Dry and tough). Talk to the Server Good things she's really nice when i told her about this Ribs situation says its there ussual portion and servings but quick to suggest to change it with porkchops Thankful that she does. Willing to give it a try again when in Jasper.

Very expensive and gross food not worth it

Friendly servers, good breakfast food, nice and quick, all country music radio.

My steak was spoiled approximately 5-10 minutes after I ate, I vomited my meal . However the chicken wings and ice tea were tasty. Used to be my go to restaurant in Jasper. Will no longer go back. 😒 I will be contacting the local food inspector.

Fast service. Good selection of food and large portions. Server was friendly and efficient. Will eat here again!

The food here was good. I like the fact that it was pretty reasonable in price. Very spacious for the interior and they can handle larger groups. Kids liked the lasagna and I thought the Donair plate was pretty good. Will come back again

Photos on menu are not accurate to what you receive. Staff does let you know this, but why not just use real photos? Otherwise decent food for a small town like Jasper.

My favourite breakfast spot in town! Not only is everything on their menu delicious, but we are always treated like amazing. The french onion soup is my favourite as well as the eggs benny, but everything i try on the menu is always outstanding!

Service was rude and rushed. However, same attractive goth waitress we had was very patient with elderly woman in next booth who did not speak English or French; waitress took the time to explain different ways eggs were prepared to make sure customer got what she wanted. Our food was thrown at us on the run....maybe we were to sensitive, IDK. BUT the poutine was very good. Convenient location.

For 15yrs its always been my go to place for breakfast when im in jasper. Great menu, good portons and tasty.

A great menu with a Greek influence. The domair was fresh, tasty and just the right size. You'd never know yer dining at PetroCan. Friendly service too.

I eat at the Bright Spot pretty regularly and have always found the service to Be friendly and accommodating. The food is always very good I believe the word is consistent and there is a large variety of items on the menu. I have no reservations on recommending this restaurant for its good service and food.

Good food, clean, nice staff

I ordered oatmeal and a vegetable omelette. The oatmeal was a strange consistency, but the omelette was very good.Decaf coffee appeared to be Sanka instant coffee; not very good, but does the job in a pinch. My husband had the peppercorn sirloin steak which he said was good.

Basic establishment, simple menu, speedy friendly service, great tasting food - what's not to like...

We stopped here for breakfast before hitting the slopes... we ordered smoked salmon eggs Benedict and French toast. The salmon was greyish colour, the Holliday sauce was sour and the muffin was not toasted. The French toast was under cooked, mushy egg center. We had a few bites and called it a loss. We paid $35 for awful “food” we didn’t even eat. Please take this complaint and go anywhere else to enjoy a breakfast.

Nice restaurant with excellent and fast service. We had breakfast in this place and I would recommend the breaksfast to everyone!

Decent food for the price. Great little stop for a quick bite to eat. Never super busy. Usually one waitress handling the room. Always stop in for breakfast or lunch when travelling through.

Food was good and fast. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were not outrageous. A small warning, the menu does not list all things included in each dish (like relish on the burgers or pickle on the grilled cheese)

Amazing food Fair sized portions and the gravey is amazing!!

I recently spent 7 days in Jasper and desperately needed a go-to breakfast spot. Eggs and bacon at a hotel for $25 is not for me. That said, Bright Spot was recommended by a local, and they did not disappoint. Service was always prompt and friendly, and the food was simply awesome. Served piping hot and done right. If you happen to be in town and you're looking for a great, warm place for simple fare, Bright Spot is your place. Try their steak and eggs -- you will not be disappointed.

Pizza is a little over cooked, but the burgers and donair are great. Amazing gravy!

Good food and a nice view

We got fettuccine Alfredo which was delicious and salad but it didn't have much variety. But our waitress was the best!! She was very kind and helpful!! She was very talkative. She let us use her phone to call our families that were in the states. This place was clean and it had basketball on the tv and the food came out quick!

The staff are amazing a local family that has worked extremely hard on building their family business from the ground up. I bring my 2.5 yr old daughter here on the reg. We love the service and the food. Clean and Fun.

I was skeptical at first my fiance said let's go here I've bin and the food is good. it's right beside the petro gas station they are connected I laughed and choose smitty's. But being open minded gave it an chance the next day and I wish we did breakfast here both days cuz it was delish!!!! I will definitely be going back the service was also great the to ladies working were always checking on us! And the kids loved it! Thank you for brightening our day Bright spot!

The pizza I had was delicious! Very satisfying. The lady at the front was very nice, for her service alone - 5 stars.On a side note, she recommended an amazing hike which because of her, I enjoyed after the pizza later that same evening.

Worst service i have had in awhile. Tryed to change eggs for pancakes and would not do and hashbrowns are disgusting.

My dad and I go out of our way to come here anytime we are in Jasper. The shrimp salad is my dad's favorite, while I love the mushroom bacon deluxe burger. The burger itself filled me up and I still had fries left over (take into account I normally am still hungry after eating out). Very fast, always get our food in within 15-20 minutes yet still delicious! Amazing customer service, always trying to please and make sure we are happy! I recommend and think more people should eat here!

We came in here by chance but were pleasantly surprised. The food is pretty good, not to say excellent. If you like real Tzatziki with tons of garlic in there, that's the place for you! The service was quick and attentive.

Had a great donair with greek salad. Definitely would recommend.

The servers are so rude, unprofessional and can never smile. I don’t understand why servers are so angry and disrespectful here. Food is good but because of worst customer service, we will never go there again. Do not go there for breakfast in your vacation because servers will ruin it. I wish I could have given -100 Stars.

Great breakfast. Had the special a week ago, halibut burger with goat cheese. Wasn't sure at first but reassured by waitress to try it. So I did and what a tasty morsel.

I had the big country breakfast, the food was pretty good. Sausages not so much, but I honestly haven't had a good sausage since I cam to Canada, so I can't really blam them. The service was great. The coffee is mediocre, tried ordering a latte. That was horrible.
